Michael will be out of town Saturday the 20th so no piercings then.
Cisco bringing the 1st place for Medium Black and Gray makes us so proud. He represents what this shop stands for. - the love of the art. We need one more just like him.
Industrial piercings are rather complicated because of the three-dimensional nature of it. It is actually two piercings that are connected by one piece of jewelry that have to line up perfectly with each other without bumping against other parts of the ear. The long-term success of this piercing could come down to the level of experience of your piercer. Just something to think about.
How to take care of that awesome tattoo? The best thing you can do to keep that healed tattoo looking sharp is to protect it from the sun. To help you with that, we are offering Surfer's Choice SPF 50 sunscreen. This is the only sunscreen specifically formulated to protect tattoos. It also happens to be environmentally friendly. And on sale for $14 while supply lasts.
CASH ONLY This shop is cash only going forward. You can blame the government and banks for that. CASH ONLY
At the moment we have one more chair open for someone who can bring the respect that the art deserves.
Lamplighter is founded on the principal that technical precision and talent flow out of the love of the art and a respect for the artists and traditions that came before us. We embrace new technology and better ways of doing things but respect how those new things came to be. It is this shared love for the art that flows through us which creates the warm welcoming vibe that so many clients refer to when they talk about how they enjoyed their visit with us. We are honored by our clients allowing us to be a part of their lives. Doing tattoos and piercings well does matters. Respect for the art matters more.

Cisco has been tattooing professionally in a shop since 2021 and he is already an award winning artist. His positive energy will make you feel right at home. He takes a lot of pride in his lettering, he specializes in color, watercolor, and black & gray tattoos. He is always thrilled to take on your ideas/vision and bring it to life! We as a shop are proud to have him in the family and we know you'll be impressed by him and his work. Check out some of his art on Instagram – @Cisco_Tatt5 .
Myra the Mad Hag
Myra describes herself as "Fresh out of the oven and still a little crispy". She goes by Myra the Hag so it is no surprise that her Instagram handle is @lady_myra_the_mad_hag which is the best way to get in touch with her and see examples of her work.
She loves bold lines and works meticulously with coil machines. But she can switch to rotatory if the design calls for it. Her main focus is custom designs but still sees the manufactured designs as still having their zing.
In March of 2024 she compteted to be on Inked Magazine's Cover and came in 3rd. https://cover.inkedmag.com/2024/myra-the-mad-hag We consider that to be pretty epic!
Cailey is an artist that primarily focuses on bold lines, bright colors, and funky designs. She describes her art style as “traditional-ish” because she likes to take the hallmarks of traditional design, but adds a unique and personal twist. Cailey specializes in vibrant color and traditional linework, but is happy doing nearly any design with linework. She has a passion for tattooing and it is her mission to give clients art that they love and will last a lifetime. To check out her portfolio and regularly posted new flash, you can find her on Instagram @caileymarietattoo.

This spot is open. Are you the one? It could be you if you do quality work and don't have addictions that might detract from your pride in your work. Your love of the art has to rival our love of the art.
Michael has been piercing since Jun 9, 2021 and has really embraced the challenge. He is humble enough to know he still has things to learn even after he attended World's Only Tattoo School's piercing program. Where he really shines is in listening to the client and making sure he is giving the client what the client wants in the safest and cleanest way possible. "A man's got to know his limitations." -Client Eastwood in Dirty Harry. This is true for Michael. If he has not done a piercing before, he'll tell you. If he isn't confident in his skill, he won't do the piercing. You'll be fully informed and absolutely free to select another piercer. He wants whatever makes you most comfortable. Check out his work below.
Please reach us at Lamplightertattootx@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
State law requires you to be 18 or older to get a tattoo. By the way, you must also be sober.
To get a piercing, you can be 18+ to get whatever you want and that the artist is able/willing to do. Under 18, for navel and above the neck, a parent must be present, you must bring your birth certificate, and the parent must have picture ID with the same last name that is on both the birth certificate and the ID. Otherwise, there must be documentation that explains the difference between the birth certificate name of the parent and the ID name of the parent. Some sort of picture ID for the minor is helpful.
Under 12 is handled on a case by case basis but it is discouraged. Nipples and below the belt will not happen if you are not at least 18.
The best way to make an appointment is to call (landline so no text available) (817) 367-9585. See below in the "Contact Us" section for addtional ways. And there is always the old school way of just dropping in to say hi.
The artists' profiles above have their direct contact information and a way to see their work.
For a tattoo appointment TO BE CONSIDERED BOOKED, you must leave a deposit with your tattoo artist. The non-refundable deposit counts toward the total cost of the tattoo. This is so because your artist will begin working on your design long before you arrive for your tattoo. If you can't make your appointment, call your artist and work out a solution.
Piercings do not require an appointment, but we can make one if you really really want one. But while piercing don't need an appointment, it is a good idea to call ahead.
